Pharmaceutical industry

1. Treatment of psychological disorders: Lithium chloride is a pharmaceutical ingredient used in the treatment of bipolar disorder (e.g., manic-depressive disorder) and depression. It acts as a stabilizer that regulates nervous system activity and reduces the onset and severity of psychological symptoms.

2. Treatment of epilepsy: Lithium chloride can be used in the treatment of epilepsy. It reduces the frequency and intensity of seizures by regulating nerve conduction and inhibiting the transmission of abnormal electrical signals.
