Hazardous characteristics of lithium aluminum hydride:

Heating 125℃ means that it decomposes lithium hydride and aluminum metal, and releases hydrogen. Get angry when ground in the air. Heat or contact with moisture, water, alcohol, acid, that is, heat release reaction and release of hydrogen and combustion or explosion. It exploded in contact with a strong oxidant.


Notes for the storage of lithium aluminum hydride:

Should be stored separately from oxidants, acids, alcohols, etc., and avoid mixed storage. The storage area shall be equipped with suitable material for the leakage.


Emergency treatment of lithium aluminum hydride:

Quarantine the leakage pollution area and restrict access. Cut off the fire source. It is recommended that emergency handling personnel wear self-contained positive pressure respirators and fire protective clothing. Do not make direct contact with the leak. Small leakage: avoid dust, use no spark tools to collect in a dry, clean, covered container. Transfer of a safe place. Large leakage: cover with plastic cloth and canvas to reduce flying dispersion. Contact the relevant departments to determine the clearance method.
